Medieval Poison Ring

One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them,
One ring to bring them all and in the darkness KILL THEM

This past August, archaeologists discovered a medieval bronze ring that could have been used for political murders nearly 700 years ago. The ring was found at the site of a former medieval fortress in Cape Kaliakra, Bulgaria. Probably worn by a male on the little finger of his right hand, the ring features a hollow cartridge which acted as the chamber for poison.

A brief history of affairs in Bulgaria that you didn't know (nor did anyone else. because it's Bulgaria):
Kaliakra was the capital of the Dobruja region. The ring is believed to have taken part in the fight between Dobrotitsa (ruler) and his son, Ivanko. The ring could have been the secret weapon in several 14th century murders and could shed light on the many unexplained deaths of nobles and aristocrats close to Dobrotitsa.
